History

Founded 14 years ago catering to everyone from sophisticated to families with a friendly professional service. Remodeled 4 years ago with contemporary neo-classic style, offering comfortable seating in warm Mediterranean ambience.  Expanded recently to include an outdoor terrazzo style open air bar lounge for spacious entertaining and under the stars dining.

A remarkable indoor/outdoor restaurant & bar. With a newly renovated indoor dining room, a lit glass bar top and French doors, the faux finish terra cotta walls gives the place a very warm Mediterranean feel.

The spacious outdoor area with an erected 20 seat bar is magnificent. A cedar wood deck fills the air with a very flavorful aroma that blends with the food and the spices will definitely open up your appetite. A centered pear tree and bamboo plants takes you on a journey and suddenly you feel you are somewhere in the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, or wherever your imagination may take you. Evelyn's restaurant is owned by two brothers Gus and Naji Sleiman.  The vision was to transfer Evelyn's to a hot spot with great food, atmosphere and drinks while keeping it affordable to everyone.  keeping in mind the importance of great food and service, the restaurant underwent some serious renovations. The idea was to create one place with two great atmospheres: a restaurant with great food and a hot bar scene that married and complemented each other rather than clash with one another.
 
 
About our Chef

Chef Naji Kassouf graduated culinary school in the mid 80's from one of Lebanon's top culinary institutes. His main specialties were in Lebanese cuisine, but Naji K. is very creative in both French and Italian cuisine as well. He worked at some of the most reputable restaurants in Beirut like Al Dante which was rated by Travel and Leisure magazine as one of the best Italian restaurants in the Middle East.

 

Evelyn's is available for catering or for private parties.  Our professional chef and serving staff are available for all of your unique special events.  Whether it's a graduation, birthday, shower, or a corporate event, Evelyn's will provide you with the highest quality of hospitality.
